Marseilles, Illinois

Mid-Week Mega Walk-Nov 2nd
Ever want to hike the canyons in the park? Did you know you can do it in one day? The hike leaves the Starved Rock Lodge at 8:30am and 9am on Wednesday November 2nd, finish times are 4:30pm and 5pm.  Now that’s what I call a Mega Hike!

Aurora’s First Friday Art Walk -Nov 4th
Enjoy a night of art, fun music, dancing and local businesses and venues in downtown Aurora. A stroll around downtown has never been more colorful, musical or artistic!

Ooh La La Chocolate 5k-Nov 6th
Starting at the Kane County Courthouse, get ready to run the beautiful streets of historic Geneva, Illinois.  The 2nd annual Ooh La La Chocolate run helps children with pediatric cancer attend summer camp.  Food network star Alain Roby will be on hand to prepare delicious hot chocolate and Pain au.

Cincinnati, Ohio

Step Out: Walk to stop Diabetes-Nov 5th
Help spread awareness of the disease and raise funds, spring forward to a healthier lifestyle at the Step Out Festival.

Turkeyfoot Trot 5k Run-Nov 17th
The Turkeyfoot Trot race is held at St. Barbara Church and includes chip timing, children’s fun run, food and door prizes.  First 100 registrants receive a free gift.  Don’t miss this day of fun for the whole family.

Turkey Mosh 5k-Nov 24th
6th annual event featuring a scenic 5k course with fast and flat finish ending with refreshments, music and family friendly fun!

Augusta, Georgia

Augusta Canal-Find your Park Festival-Nov 5th
Join in the daylong celebration of all things you can enjoy outdoors along the canal.  Fun for the whole family celebrating 100 years of National Parks and 20 years as a National Heritage Area.

The Great Pumpkin Chase-Nov 12th
The race is hosted by Kids Restart and starts at Lake Olmsted.  Promoting family ties and bonds for children in foster care.  Raising awareness for families getting involved in foster care.  Great cause and great exercise!

Turkey Trot- Nov 19th
5th Annual WJBF-Salvation Army Turkey Trot! This year the starting line will be located at the Kroc Center! The Turkey Trot helpsThe Salvation Army fight against hunger! Dress in your superhero costume to race against hunger. Prizes will be awarded for the best-dressed runners!

Bolt for Bikes-Greenville, NC-Nov 5th
ENC AMBUCS is a local charity providing adopted bikes to children with disabilities who are unable to ride a traditional bike.  Join to make a difference in the lives of local children.

Washington, NC-Nov 19th
Help bring awareness to Diabetes and join us for Shine a Light on Diabetes 5K GLOW Run. Sponsored by the Beaufort County Public Health Department. The race will begin and end at Festival Park, Washington NC. Each race participant will be given glow accessories to help glow through the night! Wear bright clothing too! Race day registration/check-in will be from 3:30- 4:45 PM on race day.

New Bern, NC-Nov 24th
It’s that time again to gobble, gobble!  The 9th annual Turkey Trot takes place on Thanksgiving Day at 8am.  Awards will be given out for all age groups.  You can participate as a runner, walker, dog/stroller or wheelchair participant.  No better way to start your Thanksgiving Day festivities.

White Springs, Florida

Columbia County Fair-Nov1st-5th
Fun, Food, rides and prizes! 62nd annual fair providing “A Walk down memory lane.” Helicopter rides, exhibit buildings, Livestock Shows and sales, petting zoo and much more.

BridgeBuilder Bootcamp at Freedom Park-Nov 5th
Take the short drive to Valdosta, Ga to join a great day of fitness for the entire family. All levels from beginner to Proficient athletes are welcome.

ChompCancer 5k-Nov 6th
American Cancer Society presents another annual 5k at the University of Florida benefitting the American Cancer Society. Live DJ will be on hand and if you pre-register by 11/3 you are guaranteed a ChompCancer race tee shirt!

Adult Volleyball every Wednesday at 7:30p in November at the Broadmoor United Church in Baton Rouge.
Free, co-ed volleyball played indoors with backyard rules.  No skills necessary, just show up and walk on the court and let’s play!

I’ll Be Right Here 5k/10k Race-Nov 12th
Treadmill, Gym, Track, Trail, Road you pick!  You choose the course and time yourself and then report your finishing time.  This is a virtual race, but you actually do a run or walk, just send in your time.  Medals will be given.  What a great concept!

Rabelais Run for Life-Nov 12th
Give hope to those waiting for a lifesaving transplant. 1/2-mile fun run starts at 8am and the 5k starts at 8:15. Food provided by Chef KD.  Fun for the whole family!  Pennington Biomedical Research Park in Baton Rouge.

Joplin, Missouri

Family Fun Day-Nov 5th
Silly Kids Entertainment provides inflatables, face painting, craft tables along with costume characters that include your child’s favorite characters. Bring your kids for all this outdoor fun 11am to 4pm at the Joplin Boys and Girls Club Gym.

2016 NWA Turkey Trot 5k-Nov 24th
Give the gift of a Merry Christmas to the children of our nation’s heroes. Benefiting former and current Veterans and First Responders. Great way to get your blood pumping for a great cause. Race starts at 9am Thursday, Nov. 24th at the Center for Non-Profits.

Falling Leaves-Nov 9th-12th
Discover the how and why of all these beautiful colors as we investigate Missouri’s magical trees through songs, stories and a walk outside. The event is held at The Wildcat Glades Conservation and Audubon center. Enjoy your fall walk and the beauty of the ever changing leaves.

In nearby Findlay, the 3rd annual Run like it’s Recess 5k will be held on Nov 12th.  The goal is to raise awareness for kids and families to get involved in healthier activities. Start your healthy lifestyle today!

After the PKs 5k Road and 10k Trail Run-Nov 13th
The 8th annual After the PKs (Penalty Kick) 5k and 10k trail run through Van Buren State Park @ 2pm.  This is a true trail run, mud and all!

Weeping Water, Nebraska

Prairie Run-Nov 5th
Run along mowed trails in the prairie to support the Nature Center’s prairie restoration projects and land management.  The trail is challenging and will take you along the tall grass prairie through rolling hills. Beautiful scenery for your eyes!

Veterans Day Walk of Recognition-Nov 11th
A 3-mile walk for family and friends of Veterans and Active Duty Personnel. After the walk stay for the ceremony at Brewsky’s Haymarket.

Night Hike-Nov 11th
Ever wonder what goes on at the Nature center at night?  Wonder no more, explore the trails, listen to the sounds and gaze at the stars during the fall night hike!
