Lanigan, Saskatchewan


Lanigan has a population of 1,300 and is located in south-central Saskatchewan.  Lanigan was founded in 1907 and was incorporated in 1908. Lanigan is sometimes referred to as “The Land of Potash.”

Some of the notabe people who hail from Lanigan includes rock band, The Age of Electric, Curler, Cori Bartel, and notable NHL players, Sheldon Brrokbank, Bobby Baun, Wade Brookbank and Brian Propp.
