Nutrien Family: Americus

Established all the way back in 1832, Americus, Georgia is a city with a lot of history. Nutrien is proud to be a part of its ongoing story as it moves into the future.

Home to one of our granulation facilities, our Nutrien family in Americus is working hard to help provide farmers with the tools and supplies they need to grow the world from the ground up. But Nutrien certainly isn’t the only historic organization that exists there. With it’s home to the Habitat for Humanity project, Americus is the birthplace for an organization that works tirelessly to help build and improve places to call home.

But that’s not the only impressive thing about the history of Americus, Georgia. The Windsor Hotel was built all the way back in 1892! With well over 50 bedrooms available, this masterpiece of Victorian architecture is quite a surprising addition to the city of Americus. With a storied history of hosting former presidents, famous politicians and celebrities of the day, the Windsor hotel is a magnificent testament to the grandeur of its time.

But Americus is also a city working for the future of the world. Thanks to the help of our Nutrien Family in Americus, we can work tirelessly to help grow the world from the ground up.
